My Funeral

By SilverPagan

My Funeral
Quiet roses and black crossess
How they knew of such sorrow
As the one I know tonight
Blank, confused rows of faces never there
I drampt without reality
A dream not forgotten
As I lay asleep tonight
I know it is near
So quite, yet conspicuous
Ethereal beauty becomes true
As I draw near it
Black wings extending
I look down at myself
But I can never wake
From this,
My eternal sleep

Curious and unique structure to your work, not found often here. Many welcomes to DP!
