A God For You...

By elisa

I will suffer my own wrath
to save you

I'll be damned
to Hell
for your penance

I will sell my soul
to free you

I will sit in darkness
to behold the beauty of your light

I will blind my vision
to give you sight

I will fade away
so you can rise again

I will cry an ocean
so you can swim

I will fill your lungs with eternal life
in my final breath

and if
the world turns it's back on you
I will turn the world on it's back
to face you

your name will sing the colours of the universe
as the stars shine in your honor...

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
...and if you ever think of me
in loving memory
I will live eternity
in that moment with you.
