My Thoughts - The Truth Revealed Pt II (Realization)

By Syn

Weakness is contagious
when we feed off ourselves
You gnaw and you gnaw until
you can satisfy the almost
insatiable hunger
that drives your mind
drives you mad
drives you to the end

Expecting and needing
pushing so hard
surfacing for air
that no longer fills your lungs
and you fight
so hard so long
until your knuckles are white
face is blue

And you collapse
you knew you were never going to win
you set yourself up for failure
And you cry
you cry out needing something
needing someone
until you find theres no one there

and you realize youre weak
and you know youve always been
