Rainy Day Memories
By Malice In Wonderland
Faint buzzers sound
Shaking me from distant dreamlands
7 A.M
Mo[u]rning
Pulse of rain,
Invading my senses,
Warm comfort
Of ominous grey,
Memories,
Come in a wash[ing] breeze
But a ghost to this mortal existance
Submerged a prisoner
In
twistes sheets
Confines
Shackles of misery one can't seem to
break
Leaden
As opposed the simple cotton sheets
That
seem to strangle me
I think of that day
We danced in the
rain
With such abandon
You sang show tunes
In the outpour[ing]of
rain
I wonder
When I died...

im swept away, in every single one of your works i find it so easy to lose myself in your words, such is the way you write, and each with its theme never falters, those of which you express are dear to my heart

I love it. Left me speechless, especially the end. The end of poems are my favorite to get to to read.. Somehow it reminded me of a heartbeat, dunno if anyone else noticed.

..all through this it was so picturesque. The quiet, the struggle, the memories and then the end is sad but not overbearingly so. NIcely done Kya

Oh was amazing.. so vivid and atmospheric, and the line "Shackles of misery one can't seem to break" in reference to the sheets was heart breaking and brilliant.. the ending shook me to the core.. absolutely incredible work.

I thought the lead in was amazing and the word choice was phenomenal as it always is with your works.
