Mistakes are useless if you don't learn from them...

By Linwe

Thinking back to you and me
I wonder how I could have possibly
Hung on to you for all these years
Facing words which hurt disastrously
And you only laughed about my tears

Degraded by every letter that you spoke
The movements of your lips left me torn deep within
The more you hurt, the more I choked
And the harder you pushed the sin

Distance grew between us as
You non-stop set me on defiance
I was caught up in a cage
Fighting the loss of reliance

You took all of me
Turned me into a jelly-fish
Weakened me as you advanced
Pain I don’t want to reminisce

Ever since I regained strength
I believe you owned a reign of duplicity
I won’t be paralyzed no more
Not after you had sucked the life out of me

Cruelty the emperor of the battle
Dehumanizing in every way
Apparently rotten to the core
Who ever thought our Love could stray

But life has drifted back into me
For now I see that a man with such superioristic behaviour
Could never be worth my Love
And for God’s sake, never EVER be my saviour!!!
