The Love I Imagined

By Simply Me

Do you think of me and smile,
and does your heart then need a rest,
from beating uncontrollably,
as if to leap right from your chest?

Does your adrenalin start to pump,
as if you think you need to run?
Does your mind just drift away,
to thoughts of us just having fun?

Has it ever crossed your mind,
that we might one day be together?
Running wild and free, with hand in hand,
wanting each day to last forever.

Will you sit with me beneath a tree,
and watch the sun as it is setting?
Do you think it's possible for us,
to one day have a wedding?

No, I guess you don't my love,
I've never told you how I feel.
I'm not good enough for you.
these dreams of mine aren't real.

My imagination made your love.
You don't even know my name.
One day I'll shout it to the world.
and I'll have finally won loves game.

I have wrote a few works that are all in my imagination. They sound so good and real in our heads, but when reality hits it hurts a lot!...lol Don't stop dreaming though, cuz without dreams what would lead us on?
