The Whole

By elisa

the whole
has holes
of parts
apart
with voids
of cold alone

each hidden corner
all well known

as darkness waits
in frozen stones
no one knows

we're not alone

just one
of many
thoughts unknown

Perfect poem this one. Reminded me of a shattered mind that one with schizophrenia possesses. Good choice of words as well

The first part is so original. The rhymes that are on top of each other and the way they work...Accute and startle. And I don't much like rhyme. It is short and proud. Defind and radiant. Lovely and well-written.

This flows so wonderfully. I really enjoyed both the words used and the sound they invoked! Well Done!
