Its your birthday today
Another turn around the sun
A year closer to the hill

The fire detector blares
The smoke brings a tear to the eye
A spark leaps from the candles
The curtains burn so bright
You realize fire pretty

You've aged so gracefully over the years
Not too many wrinkles at all
Definately no need for botox
You've kept most of your own hair and teeth

After all the help you gave Noah and his boat
You deserve to rest of a "retirement community"
It must seem like yesterday since Hersey's First Kiss

They say the mind is the first thing to go
In your case I have to disagree
I added adult diapers to the shopping list for you

The candles burn
The silence is overwhelming
The anticipation is growing

Now is the time to take a moment
