Why Do I Write?

By Syn

Where does my mind wander?
Where does it go?
Where do I get these words...
That I let so easily flow?

Why do I write?
For the world to see...
Why do I let them
see inside of me?

Why do I speak of
such wordly things?
These whispers come from
my skeleton dreams...

I think and I try
But fail from the start
I always let others
into my heart

My wall is built strong
But soon is brought down
And each time I swear
I'll let these words drown

For nobody cares
they just read and laugh
I should just quit
And wear this fake mask
