Why Do I Write?
By Syn
Where does my mind wander?
Where does it go?
Where do I get these words...
That I let so easily flow?
Why do I write?
For the world to see...
Why do I let them
see inside of me?
Why do I speak of
such wordly things?
These whispers come from
my skeleton dreams...
I think and I try
But fail from the start
I always let others
into my heart
My wall is built strong
But soon is brought down
And each time I swear
I'll let these words drown
For nobody cares
they just read and laugh
I should just quit
And wear this fake mask

You write to release, and you release to ease the pain. You're relating to others as well. this was good. the rhyme scheme was awesome. nicely done.
