Hippie with a Handgun

By Syn

They encircled her
They mamed her
They indecently betrayed her

They laughed at her
They pulled tears from her
They whimsically imprisoned her

* * * * * *

They doubted her institutions
They made jokes at at her freedoms of expression
They downed her fight for rights
They dismissed her loving disposition

She only wanted to be loved
As she loved everyone else
She took pain from all the rest
As she bottled her emotions on the shelf

Til one day things went hectic
She was violated, played and changed
She put a stop to all the bullshit
And began to claw out of her cage

She spent many years in there
Too much time to think on the past
Formulating, plotting her revenge
She has become jagged like broken glass

Now there is a psycho on the loose
This is the beginning of the fun
Because what people dont realize is that
This hippie's got a gun

glass is right, it is twisted, but it's a great write. it's something a lot of people hide from. nice.

Hmmm.. twisted but its a battle a lot of people face. Success is in our hands and too often we stay in the cage on our own merit. Good write. I liked it. -Glass
