Warning

By Lexicon

I guess its time
To own up, and take responsibility.
We knew this time would come
Both I and he.

Now,I dont know where to start
Dont know how to go about
telling him what is the matter
And what is going to occur thereafter.

Fresh tears and anguish
have polluted my sensibilities.
I cant see past an excess of compassion and my own insecurities.

What is there to gain from this
This is a result of my need to be needed.
What good could come of it
The warning was given clear as night and I should have heeded it.

I should have heeded it.
