I....{submersion}

By A Velvet Tongue

I may not win
But I try..
I may not soar
But I fly..
I may not lose
But I'll die
I may not scream
But I cry
I may not find
But I hope
I may not speak
But I choke

I may not wait
But I want
I may not kill
But I hunt
I may not seek
But I stay
I may not believe
but I pray
I may not kneel
But I bow
I may not score
But I foul

I may not love
But I care
I may not smile
But I dare
I may not offer
But I accept
I may not lead
But I'm adept
I may not confess
But I sin

I may not play....
.....But I'll win..
