And the night lives on

Alone I stand at the shore front
gazing into the water,in a trance by
the light of the moon
reflecting * dancing * enticing
mid summer breeze gently brushes
across my face sending a slight
chill down the back of my spine

I dip my foot into the water
and swirl it around a bit
making a spiral effect * fading
I look up to gaze at the stars
and spot Taurus and Draco
my most favored constelations
in the night speckled sky

Feeling a bit chilled and rather tired
heading back to the tent
I turn off the gas lamp and set it aside
climb into the warm, soft sleeping bag
lay my head down and close my eyes
retiring to a good nights rest for
the next day we were prepared for war
