Wondering where my mind hath gone

By LoneWolf

I'm wondering where my mind hath gone as I trip my way down to the beach, kicking dead jellyfish back into the water
to see if they have more life than I do, not that it really matters anyway since I haven't found my mind yet and that driftwood is looking mighty
strong today, so i think that maybe i will take a drift over to china to see if joyce's family has found it yet, but it doesn't
seem they have yet because the bamboo's on the table and my stomach's kinda empty today.

But after dinner i flee to the rice paddys where i wonder if it's grown for the weekend, and you never know if your mind can really move itself you know, so
you have to keep on chasing and chasing it down, but while i walk i see an antelope who tells me that he thinks he heard from a bird it might be in russia, so i
waved to him and walked away determined to get to the kremlin that day and demand that they give me back what is mine.

The russians are kind of nice sorts if you know just how to treat em but they hadn't seen a brain anywhere close, they said that they were sorry but i
just'a kept on walking, cause i figured maybe it went to see england, i sailed across the channel on another piece of driftwood and i searched high and low
over london and the thames, but my brain is such a smart ass that it can't just sit it wanders like the one who owns it - that would be me, of course.

I searched all over greenland and i went to madagascar, but i couldn't find that thing anywhere, so i finally said "fuck you brain" and went
back home to california where i started walking down the lane to where my home is, when these little dogs start barking like they found their greatest treasure, and guess what it is that they found for me?

Well, whatever it was, it wasn't my brain but man did it smell!
