Halo's Roots

By knightmirror

cilia stands on the back
of my neck,
a tingling sesation of fear
having it's way,
sparatically the mangled wreck
twists/pulls

the glassy bluewhite moonbeam
stares down
upon a freshly revealed halo
sent first class
by the eye in the sky looking
upon me

silence rings bells in my ears,
highpitch
fork impales sight unseen by me
untilnow
i could only limp,dragging my
shadow along

weighing in this corner with the
intention
to erode the darkness at highnoon,
is light,
shining it's goodness throughout
the arena

suddenly it's opponent strikes,
unannounced,
by anyone,including his own poisonous,
unclean mouth,
liesextending from years of rot
from deciet

at first hit andonlyone comes
a malicious,
merge of manicdepressive senses,
lashing out
against the beautiful mind harboring
lights halo

just before the total eclipse

mmm this was chalk full of wicked images... "i could only limp, dragging my shadow along".. it does read a little funny... but the vocabulary you use and the atmosphere you created are excellent

I love the wording, if I do give any criticism though, it would have to be the structure. While it is wonderful, I'm an oddball, just the look of it makes me thing "Eh" I dunno, maybe align it all to the left, or right? I like how some of the words are me

*merged together. Gives it a quick read feel. Then the last line summed it up wonderfully. One more thing, the title...I dunno, it fits, but not the right way. Ya know what I mean?
