Slough of Despond

By MGood

Black spiders in my web,
Feeding on my pride,
Take my blood, rather.
Misdirected rivers run far, decidedly.
While wishes float,
Fears are sinking.
Seeking a hell.
Morning lies.
In water so cold it seems burning.
Running dark circles 'round mine,
When flames remind me I'm frozen.
Hatred posted
And I'm screaming with a smile.
Pushing well-enough on myself,
As evil flickers in these eyes.

yeah ... this write has a slickness to it .... kinda coy with an eye twinkle ... and the fact that it's shaped like a teddy bear with a wide brimmed hat adds a subliminal " hug me"--- very cool ... funguy

Very interesting thoughts you submit to here. At least, very interesting in the fashion of how you precieve them . And I'm screaming with a smile. Beautiful [D&A]
