Entre Brazos

By maddin foxxxy

Right now
in between my own arms
it's my own warmth ..

Blind me now
form non-sense
I will not dare see
I will not give
in

To the darkness now
Every feeling
is a shadow
undiscovered
and recovered
form craShING IN
with me now ..

Is God with me now?
Could I feel God
somehow?

Losing in the knives
of the minutes
that went through ..
I've gone through
into cold
and waste ..

And is Your power
one that pastes?

Now..

Breathe out ..
To breathe in ...

Are You with me now?
Do You breathe somehow?

And to only
have some sympathy
for the ones
that bleed ..

I am one
that needs...

[now] ..

I carry the skies
and too many voices
whispering goodbyes ..
and faults and things
that fly
from me
away ..

'Nothing in here stays'
Yesterday I heard say..

Best to take it
as it comes

And release it
when it harms

Best to breathe it
while it warms

In between my own arms ..

I have to agree with Old Soul. The beginning and ending felt very natural and comforting. The "I carry the skies" stanza definately held a lot of weight (no pun intended).

I felt a bit of distress in your words, but this somehow left a very calming affect on me.
