Nostalgia

By one-fanged vision

being driven to Insanity
--thanks for the hospitality, James--
wont be back for a while,
contact your local insane asylum
cos you won't catch me any other way

I'm waiting... I'm running away
two faces yet two eyes
please listen to me
I'm breaking apart and these pieces
shattered glass
won't collect themselves

we're stranded on this cliff
overlooking the past
photos eclipse the leaves
I know we're young, yet I feel so vulgar
somebody diagnose me
before I crackdown

can you feel the breeze
separating our thoughts?
it's just a step back
and we're falling into the sea
of time__

[transition (mixture of David Bowie: Space Oddity and Queen: Play the Game -opening- sort of thing)]

we've lost control
this ship's about to self destruct
I feel no hope
there's nothing to grasp hold of
I'm slipping on velcro

will anyone hold me
while I'm covered in sewage?
I once had a home
illusion
disowned by an illusion

strands on my cliff
the overlooking past
manipulate cherished photos to eclipse the leaves
photos of infatuation
watch as they morph
into the familiar vamipes in my dreams
draining me of life
once young, vulgar innocence
please. I need this labotomy
I'm lost within myself

There's never a way back
all I need is another chance

can you hear me

will you give me one last chance____
