A happy Valentine
By LoneWolf
Did it make you happy, Valentine,
When the emperor sent you to die?
And yet they made you a saint
Imagine that
How twisted our past is
And we continue to twist it now
Your death is a celebration
Of love, and couples,
The ones that you married to each other
The ones that sent you to your doom?
And yet your day is a celebration
At the end of your life,
Did you have a happy Valentine?

I heared the story of St.Valentine, and it's a beautiful story. But you seem to show the same story from the point of truth that it is: "Your death is a celebration/Of love,..."

Comment continued...I think that none of the couples know what pain and torture they are celebrating on that day. I love it, i never liked St.Valentines Day, made me tink of the agony he went through for our happiness.Love it a lot: OG
