return (tacenda)

By KittyStryker

oh baby

come and dance the tarantella

i won't tell a soul
if you won't

bruise me, use me
don't care if you abuse me
just want you to be mine
even for
a little time

feel your way up
one smooth leg to my haven of betrayal
damaged goods
but some things are better
when they've been handled
or at least
that's what i keep saying
and praying
and trying to believe

gag me with my own innocence
since i don't have the sense
to keep my mouth shut
and you
you always loved
putting something inside it
inside me

as long as you're touching me
i can imagine it's love
it's almost enough
almost
affection

affliction
addiction
maybe all this
won't hurt so badly
the next morning
if i can rearrange the frames
and make this picture perfect

we always looked so happy
in our photographs

black and blue
almost invisible in these
black and whites

maybe it has to do with
the way you tend to bruise me
deep under the skin
and only scar my heart

it's an art

the way you keep me

barely

breathing

this is beautifully written, subtle and powerful, wonderfully crafted. and from the "black and blue" stanza onwards is simply outstanding. purr
