Here's My Guitar

By maddin foxxxy

Everything falls apart...
Everything but
the castle you built
for me to live
in your mind

Here's my guitar
in my arms
singing of you
so I can hear
where you hide

The years they all
accumulate
in the mishaps
that crash
in fate

The lies they all
pour in and show
along with
the hypocrisy
in which
people grow

They fake it
as they walk...
but you are real
and your words
are the only sounds
that talk

How can I grab
you as a whole
without your sand
escaping through
the hole?

I'd kiss you
for a taste
of the heaven
hidden here on earth
and going into
waste...

Everything's falling apart..
The ceiling's coming down..
Here's the melody
hung in a string
of your smile

Here's my guitar
in your silence
of the eternity
in a while..

I really liked this and was drawn to read it again and again, because it has a soothing effect for some reason, I loved it.

I believe you may be an incruable romantic. You make my heart yearn for the days when I was, but I guess that then would make me a curable romantic . S.

you found the right chords to strum and you played them as if your fingers were made of the instrument. I couldn't say that one verse inparticular was my fav. Every bit flowed all too well through my mind. Love it, hun. :::OLd

So beautiful. It drips with a slow pulse; the slow plucking of a metal string. Resonating through my bones like a cold wind thtough a net.

I was excited about this after merely reading the title! I love the "I'd kiss you" stanza. Very strong intro as well. The piece feels so sad, but there's that glimmering peace hidden in there as well.
