Fix This

By morbiddemonchild

Have you really changed the way you are?
The pitiful 'Poor me' act
Inspired by the doubt
I had had in you
I need a better life for myself

Working
Like clockwork
To start this out right
It's wrong
To try and fix this

Have you really done all you say?
Chased away rainbows with my sorrows
Kissed the passion of ocean with my lips
Lay in the fields of my thoughts

I worked
So hard for this
Not wanting it ruined
But since I am me
No one eles
I fucked it up
So now I need to try and fix this

Have you really seen a change in me?
Desperation, inspiration, hesitation?
The way I was changed when I was around you broke
I dropped it and it shattered
Into a million pieces

I am tired of working
To mend a broken piece of nothing
Shattering the dream
You decided to share with me
I'm sorry but I'm tired
Of trying to fix this
