Colours Without Names

By purr_verse

..and then I just find myself lost
in designs of towers
and patterns
and colours without names...

Full fathom five, free-falling,
calling,
visions so familiar
all in
synchronicity of chaos cities in your mind
You find
a rainbow haze of futures
so unbidden
undesigned...
You ride the spirit and the heart
In visionary art
Sing colours -
colours without names.

Your altered state of being
seeing
poetry and purpose
free in
places never ventured to by others much too real
You feel
misunderstood and distant
so segmented
so surreal...
The world distorts inside your dream
With frequencies supreme
and colours -
colours without names.

And from the outside, sighing
crying
critics and complainants
try in
different ways to tear apart your gift so fearfully
They see
a danger in your power
and your sight
of honesty...
Their words mean nothing here - I'm sure
I'm the connoisseur
of colours -
colours without names.

Your visions so alluring
ruling
cover me in splendour
true in
fantasy and substance so impossibly divine
Sublime
Uniquely kissed by chaos,
somehow perfect,
somehow mine...
And through you my old worlds distort
in word and deed and thought
and colours -
colours without names.

This heartsong dance that you have brought
I'm absolutely caught
in colours -
colours without names.
