If I could look into the future,
just for reference
Would I want to know how it all
turns out?
Will I still be stagnant
Waiting and wondering
Hoping that my life will come to me
Will I finally be content with my life
with myself
Or will I make a change and soar above it all
or will I fall?
That is my fear
................falling.................
where?
into an abyss
or the best time of my life
But who is to say?
There is no crystal ball to gaze upon
to query what will become of me
So, here I sit
stagnant
waiting for things to happen to me
hoping
needing
wanting
But only in my dreams
in my secret mind
and
in my visions of
the future
