A Shadow On the Wall

By darkness_descends

I'm just a shadow on the wall
My cries can not be heard
My tears can not be seen
I'm just expressionless
Ignored or forgotten
Just a last thought
If even thought of at all
Brushed by
Walked passed
Just a shadow on the wall
A spectre in the hall
Never wanted
Never noticed
Just taken for granted
As a permanent fixture
Because I'm always there
Just a shadow on the wall
Only thought of
If time allows
After work
And time alone
After games and TV
If anyone is even home
If I'm even thought of at all
Because I'm just a shadow on the wall
No one even cares
Because I'm just always there
Just a shadow on the wall
But when I'm wanted I'll be found nothing left at all.

Don't know if this is about you or not...but I know that there's a certain girl crying for you who doesn't think that you're just a shadow...~Delilah~
