Ghost Train

By SilentStalker

*I just found this...I wrote it when I was 15...that was 8 years ago, forgive me...not one of my fav's, but let me know what you think...*

If walking down the rail at night
Don't ever turn your back
And try to flee before you see
The Ghost Train roam the track

The chilling glow that it emits
Will make you freeze in fear
The face of Death will steal your breath
And take your soul from here

Don't ever let it pass by you
Or you will surely die
And you will share the rash despair
In every victim's cry

When morning lights the cursed night
The train's sent to its grave
But this means naught if you get caught
Your soul still can't be saved

*I wrote this when I saw fog rising off a railroad track at night...go figure...it didn't turn out how I wanted it to...but not everyone thought that, so I kept it*

Oh...this was fun! Pure...with a great rythm and a connecting scheme of words...but oh how just...fun...not loaded with angst, just a wonderful story told. I really like this...realy enjoyed it too. ~JMDW~
