No Discerning

By Loserland

The night holds a precious jewel
Passion the sun would kill to reveal
Darkness radiates an unusual glow
Giving your shape definite definition
Lying spread eagle on concrete
You motion me with a finger
I fall to your side like a faithful pet
There’s a demon in that skin
I am absolutely sure of it
Your weirdness often offsets you
But you don’t scare me
You don’t make me nervous
I’m for the most part unaffected
Yet strangely strongly effected

Sink your teeth into me
Flood my senses with that rush
You can feed on me
I’ll donate everything inside
Your personal genie and jester
Absorb me into you
Until there can be no discerning
