The Dream My Life And You

By Silver Spectre

My life left in the balance
Of a decision to be made
Would it be full again
Would it feel the same
Could I take it back tomorrow
If I thought you would forsake me
Would I leave it there and not let fear
Come wither me out of place here

Should I strip down to the flesh
Laying aside all of my armor
Could I lift my breast plate open
To bare to you the soft
I would tell you what's in my hands
If you would tell me what's in your heart
But you are not safe and I am not sane
But when we are together
You feel like the end
Of a dream much to long
So I stay frozen in the moment
Where one would think nothings wrong

Between the dream, my life and you
