Broken

By Rebel_Angel

Once again my heart has been shattered,
Like broken glass scattered aimlessly across the floor.
Waiting for someone to come along, and help pick up the pieces,
If only someone had the patience and time to help me mend my broken heart.
Someone to show me not all guys are stupid.
I just want to love and be loved,
Is that too much to ask for?
Maybe so in the world we live in today.
It is just made up of hatred and lies.
I will be ok for now,
For I'm used to picking up the pieces all alone,
Each time missing two key pieces, my hopes and dreams.
One day I will lose hope in everything and care about nothing if life goes on this way.

You are the only one who holds those missing keys, when you learn to turn the keys the rest so gently in your hands the door will be open for the soul who completes you to turn the knob...

many people pass many of our doors and contunie to walk by, but trust one day they'll wait and piece together all the pieces we have let shatter in our lifetime another great expression

nice, the pieces allways seem to get smaller and harder to find, and each time you put it together again, more is missing......or maybe that's just me.
