Vows

By Quietus

Grow me in your garden

I’ll be your lavender lover

Gaze your sunshine eyes upon me

And my roots will reach your sky

Grow me in your garden

I’ll be your ruthless rose

Bleed your weathered fingers upon me

And I will never leave your side

Grow me in your garden

I’ll be your honeysuckle heroine

Rain your sorrows upon me

And I will absorb them when you cry

Grow me in your garden

I’ll be your violent violet

Breathe your every breath upon me

And I will love you until I die

This was really beautiful and serene and, though I'm guessing this is a metaphor for loving a person, I can feel this in many other metaphorical ways. Makes for great mind candy :) Very nicely done!
