All Ways

By Digital Dart

I kissed your forehead.
Left with everything,
Invested in that moment.

This time I had envisioned,
A somewhat indifferent vibe,
To how I felt your,
Presence as I went the opposite direction.
Nevertheless,
It's what you expect.
So here I am filling in empty boxes,
With what's left of myself.

I wish I had kissed your lips,
And left with no regrets weighing me down.
I'm left here, thinking about it for the thousandth time...
Thinking of the first time I thought of holding you.

Indecision lies to the heart.
Every moment apart,
Incandescent,
Second-guessing...
All ways.
