No Longer Reserved For You

By RoseTheBrokenHearted

You gave up on us,
So I gave up on you.
I guess that's the difference,
In knowing your love was never true.
Don't worry, love.
You'll find another.
Little will she know,
She won't be your only lover.
My heart no longer in a safe,
Reserved just for you.
Your actions more than proved,
Just how much I misconstrued.
The weight no longer bares,
On the top of my shoulders.
I'm really glad,
This is finally over.
I've collected myself,
And built back my composure.
This is how it feels,
When you finally find closure.

I can relate so much... though I'm not YET in this state of freedom-inducing closure
