Just another day in the life they say it may change, but things really just stay the same, a different face, a different taste

You take a walk, hoping to get away from all the monotonous talk that stalks us all..... The he said she said.... But it's no use as it follows with that blue light, oh what fright, the bright of the blue, like glue it's got a hold on you

But still you try, to get by in this world that treats you as if you were but a fly... Just a girl you are in this world, you try with those inquisitive brown eyes to find a guy who can get past the lust and just love you for who you are, someone who can make the pain go away, if only for a day...

Meanwhile the bile of the world piles and piles, left versus right, the might of the mind versus the eternal light of God.... And in the midst of this fritz, you have to pick a side, but you can't decide.... So you finally scream.. WHY?! Why do I have to be here, why did I have to be born, I didn't ask to be put into this spinning flask that might just crack, spilling you, me and everything that be into the empty black void...

Enough you say, it's time to take a stand, to make a demand to the high heavens to make this malady come to an end.. And in traditional 'careful what you wish for' fashion it ended 24 hours later, in a blaze of nuclear hellfire, all that we had done, undone, God's children.... Unwritten...

Reminds me of my old writing, back in the high school days. Great work though.

Welcome to Dark Poetry, glad to have you here! Great poem, I enjoyed every line. A tip, though- you need to work a little on the structure of your lines so it reads more like the poetry it is. If you would like some help with poem structure just let me know, I'm glad to help!
