Group Therapy

By God Is In The Rain

fourteen people meeting for the first time,
and a stranger,
sharing fourteen stories;
of their respective unwinnable wars,
about nightmares that brought them to their respective chairs,
All wondering;

how could this possibly help?
but clock starts weeping for the end,
long before they can find an answer;
Times up
What now?

fourteen bodies mindlessly rise up to leave,
and with the stranger completely unaware,
In that single moment,
Their eyes meet,
Each realizing;

it takes just one chair to suddenly turn empty,
for all the other chairs to slip;
And so they live
To fight
Another
Week.

    I've been through a lot of group therapy. It can be very depressing and tedious. Though, your insights make me want to go back. I'm working the 12 steps right now. I'm on step 8. Step 4 was a novel. :)

    Thank you ^^ It is not my insight though... I'm too affraid of these kinds of doctors to do something like that. What kind of 12 step program is that? Especially if step 4 is writing a novel? :O :)
