Brighter Days (Mi Amor)

By Commander_Cadaver

Even with the sun covered
By the thickest of storm clouds,
My days have been brighter
Than they have previously been.
Not even the thrill of taking a life
Can compare to these new and
Old feelings that have enveloped me.
Scared?
More than I have ever been.
But it's worth it.
She's worth it.
Dark hair,
Dark eyes,
Light skin,
Enticing lips.
All mine.
How could I not be scared?
But just her smile reassures me
That everything will be fine.
I believe her
And always will.
Bringer of brighter days,
My very own Artemis,
Even when she is a blushing mess.
She brightens my days
And I'll cherish her until that light
Fades away.
