Brighter Days (Mi Amor)

Even with the sun covered
By the thickest of storm clouds,
My days have been brighter
Than they have previously been.
Not even the thrill of taking a life
Can compare to these new and
Old feelings that have enveloped me.
Scared?
More than I have ever been.
But it's worth it.
She's worth it.
Dark hair,
Dark eyes,
Light skin,
Enticing lips.
All mine.
How could I not be scared?
But just her smile reassures me
That everything will be fine.
I believe her
And always will.
Bringer of brighter days,
My very own Artemis,
Even when she is a blushing mess.
She brightens my days
And I'll cherish her until that light
Fades away.
