concubine`a

By Devil lyn

our love
is like knights in white satin
never reaching the end
for each kiss we steal
feel like daggers through our breath
my breasts bleed
as your lips leave me rest`less;
my nipples, they weep
in splintered tears and settle
like bonsai sap
against your harmonious tongue;
my soul
drips from the sheath of your shaft
the gash, a clash of division
wielded by a blade …
shall we change a thousand years
for a fueling duel of ritual indecency?

I am the stars,
     and within
a constellation of trinity`s
     breathe … for you
and when you gaze upon me
your warmth is that of a dragon
enveloped around the embers raging
`moon lover
                   scarlet heart`
I`m reminded of the snow
and the glow of your embrace
embraced around my fingers`tipped
while my pulse soars
in tune with the wolf galloping
with the horse, and my breath`less`ness
haunted around the deed
of a disturbing mother;
I make you soap and kiss it
with yellow petals and a stray blossom
and you scribe me a sonnet
about the naught and the lakes
and the green taken for granted …
you are in love,
                          or
                              falling
and I am dying

to fall
   in love
     with you

I see you when my temperament
knows no shame, and blame
becomes the absent there
`neath the seventh shadow
of your vanishing throne
but it`s when the night casts its sins
that you pull me close
to mourn the scars that have kept me
from becoming your concubine`a
but it`s in the infinite gracious of your whisper
erecting, gusting subliminal`ly past my lobe:

I hope you find your Prince, my love
as the world doesn`t need another King

An excruciating yet tantalizing insight of something sacred, yet squandered on another less appreciative perhaps. To be held in painful abeyance as a second fiddle, is a bummer. Cheers DL and keep them smoking! - Dan

I love all three of those lines but that last one is one I'm jealous of, lol. To me being jealous you didn't wrote a line is the biggest compliment I could give you.

I've run this over in my head repeatedly. Each time I feel my heart aching more and more. Beautiful.
