The Dark

By Kieley

The darkness shuffles in
No end
Where will I be when it swallows me
I try and escape
But I know it is my fate
To be taken whole
And even though I have been faking
I spend every waking moment
Wanting to lose myself
In the numbness
That is my soul

In the dark there is death somewhere looming and biding it`s time but it is the soul that has the last and final say ... Thought provoking ink, enjoyed ... ~Devlin
