In the dense chaos of loss
Wanes a memory of decisions tossed
I play upon unrequited thoughts
Echoes of the choices endured
I wept as I knew of no cure
How could I make blood again, pure?
Tainted with false promises of ecstasy
How could one dare to foresee?
Tenets of once promised dreams
Corrupted long ago by sullied moon-beams
