........but love me.

By darkendomme

Use me......... but love me.

kiss the rasp in my yelling voice
say "I told you so"...if it gives me you
take your pleasures out on me
deceive my bare skin with your false lips
.........but love me.

I pay to ride this mental ferris wheel you spin
Revive your youth on the arch of my back
Command my gaze upon your devastating armor
Feed my addiction with the dope of you between my fingers
...tell on me...............but love me.

continue your dry rebuke in the day
and confessed truth, wet on my tatted skin in the night....
cradle the corpse of my heart in your guilted grasp........but love me.

taste the sweet of my weakness on your forked tongue
Lay blame and ease your conscience when in need
point your finger, fate me this curse of you
and continue your rest of not belonging to me...............but love me.

It seems that someone is putting a finger on the balance scales perhaps. But the true cost of the balancing act is a burden that increases with time. Just a matter of convenience perhaps; I was there once too. Really enjoyed how you skillfully merged desire with the physical in some unique metaphorical musings. Cheers DD! - Dan

Loved this . The more love someone takes from you the more you take back in return .

There's so much we put up with if we get that "... but love me in the end". This was a great read, maybe because I still have raw emotions from that part fading too.
