Worlds of winter never end
They are the driving force within
Keeping me free of warmth and love
Broken moments I can’t speak of
Things I never wish to be heard
The silence of not one singing bird
Drifting in the solace of passion never known
This cold I feel forever my home
I welcome the alone…
