At The King's Mercy

By SirEnders

As these nights grow ever longer
I can't help but to ponder.
Whether this Feeling is forever
Along with this Looping Endeavor.
I don't think I can stay okay
But hey, what can I say.
These voices dampening Me
In a wavy, vocal sea.
I'm trying to prevail
But, there's a tear in My sail.
My Ship has stopped now
While I stand at the bow.
And hear the volumes grow
As they do, I sink below.
I tried to get through alone
Now I'm kneeling at the throne.
In a dimly lit Great Gloomy Hall
Blood covers the length of each wall.
With Guards at each end of the room
There's nothing to do, but sit in Gloom.
This King is Malicious,
Violent, and Viscious.
He knows not of Love nor Mercy
He believes they are Heresy.
As He enters the Throne Room
To send Me off To my Doom.
The King.. He is Me
It is plain to see!

He speaks with Hatred

I'll never pity Your Soul
Death and Mischief is My goal.
I'll slaughter all who oppose
Quickly or torture who knows?
If You irk Me in any way, prepare for a fight
Your body, will be a horrific fucking sight.
This is truly My Land with My Laws
It is perfect in all of its flaws.

As the King makes his threats
I still kneel and digress.
I am the Evil One people say I am
I'm starting to see it's obvious.. God Damn.
This Evil Life, is all I've known
Not in Love, but Hate I have grown.
And I myself am to blame here
To have been living in fear.
Afraid of getting better than okay
I've been knocked down and like a game, played.
One day I'll change for the better
And I'll tear up this Final letter.
Maybe one day I'll learn different
Maybe even be.. Benevolent.
