A unicorn named Gazpacho

By molock

i went to the edge,
and i thought i was
alone.
i looked in to the
distance,
and heard a voice
that said...
I am a unicorn and
my name is Gazpacho.

It's always been on my
 bucket list,
Don't ya know?
to climb a pyramid
and fly with a unicorn
named Gazpacho.

It had a crucifix in each
eye,
and halos around its
knees,
it said...
"i think you can fly,
if you swallow this
rosary bead.

In the land without
time,
the clouds have a
strange orange glow...
everything's in motion,
...but movin' real slow.
It's been fourteen days,
with this unicorn named
Gazpacho
i have spread my wings
but i still want more.

It's alway's been on my
bucket list,
don't ya know?
to climb a pyramid,
and fly with a unicorn
named Gazpacho.

Avocado and bacalao, a favorite of mine that my Puerto Rican sister-in-law's family used to serve on special occasions; served cold over lettuce and similar to guacamole, but without the salted and dried cod fish...le sigh. Been awhile Mo and your next mission will be to write a tome on "mofongo" - a Dominican Republic treat of mashed bannanas and the kitchen sink thrown-in, but I digress my brudda. BTW, BBQ unicorn is dee-lish. Cheers, and be careful those halos round the knees don't trip you up my friend! - Dan

i got this idea from a children's baking show, they had to bake unicorn cakes and give them names one of them was named Gazpacho. i thought that was the funniest thing. it was kind of inspirational. as always your comment has put a smile on my face. my sweetheart Karen said she has heard of "mofongo" ...i think we're gonna give it a whirl. peace my brudda - m0
