Celestial sorrows of so many broken tomorrows
Beckoned is the beast
Feasting upon the darkness of our disease
Depression laden lines burrow within our minds
Triggering fits of self-depraved rage
Look upon the blood of our hands as we rattle the cage
Keys to locks melted by the vision of our anger, shown
Our self-immolation a wicked smile, deep inside
A curse of our own perverse need
Break the very things for we would willingly bleed
Break me of the horror of my mind
Only to find
Paroxysm of unbridled rage
Driven from within the ink of this blood-soaked page
I am no victim, as I am the sin
I am the victim as the cry died within
Too late were words whispered and unheard
I ponder the eloquence of the absurd
Tell me of a moment to escape this fate
How long ago was too late?
