The Faculty of False Thumbs

By Abberant

Her name was as false
As mine, and I spoke
Inwards because outwards
Doesn't work for me.

But this fakeness in her hair
Humbled the atmosphere
-To beguiled dormant throes

These are lesser parts of
Fragile thoughts kissing
Me.

Kissing
Imposter echoes
As I speak to you with false lips
And faulty words,

I share my opposable thumbs.

Sounds to me like two online personas living in a virtual reality. The opposable thumbs was a nice, human gesture. Cheers Ab! - Dan
