Up In Flames

By SirEnders

Regardless of My standing
It's always a hard landing.
Reading a living revelation
Like an emotional segregation.
I'm stuck in the numbing void
My only bridges destroyed.
Not by choice, wretched liars
I'm caught in the damn fires.
The crackling is deafening
I'm silent, not beckoning.
Just sitting here waiting
There is no escaping.
Hearing My surroundings crumble
While the options tumbled.
Close My eyes and never wake up tonight
Feeling the heat from the flaming light.
I've been ready to die, you see
But I'm out fucking patience, you feel Me?
Await the engulfing warmth of freedom
The fire is holding a Demon.
Preventing Me from My revenge
Maybe, this is My hidden defense.
I should be happy right?
I'm stuck in this fight.
All I hear about Him is a brag
I'll put him in a fucking body bag.
