Losin' you

By molock

woke up in a
cold sweat,
or maybe a
ryiver of tears.
Having nightmeares,
facing my darkest
fears.

Same old story,
Front page news.
Rollin' the dice,
playin' the love
sick fool.
Broken in pieces,
torn in two.
lyin' here alone
'cause i'm losin'
you.

Should have built
on rock,
not sand.
I couldn't learn to
walk,
before you ran.
i tried to hold on,
but you slipped
right through my
hands.
Now i'm losin'
you,
let the means
justify the end.

Losin' you is a
hard lesson
learned.
but if you play
with fire,
you're gonna
get burned.
lyin' here alone,
guess i got what
i desereve.

Same old story,
front page news.
Rollin' the dice,
playin' the love
sick fool.
Broken in pieces,
torn in two.
lyin' here alone,
'cause i'm losin'
you.

Mo, reading this hurt. I found myself humming this as I read it. Well written.
