Pardoned by the blood-red page

Seven songs of subtle praise
Sung to apes in mental games

Seven mirrors in the lake
Seven martyrs blown away
Thrown into the blood-red lake

Seven storms of endless stone
Seven cities overthrown
Buried in the blood-red stone

Seven months...seven days
Seven years of airborne plagues
Seven thousand years of rage
Poured into the blood-red plagues

Seven months...seven days
Seven candles in the rain
As the final dying flame
In a sighing angel’s hand
Lights the fuse of hopeless doom
For the blood-red promised land


     Part 2: Yellowstone

Underneath the sky she reigns
Puppet of the king of snakes
Keeping coals aflame and steaming
Dreaming in the lava deep

Deep beneath the land of freedom
Hades gates will crumble when the pact is torn in half
Reapers of injustice shall arise from underneath

Underneath the killer’s kingdom
Blood will stain the throne attained by guns and sleight of hand
Undisputed judgment of the hammer buried deep

Deep inside the earth he screams
Weeping as her scepter falls
Wailing as they start appearing
Rising up from underneath


     Part 3: The New World

Underwater castles falling
Shattered stone foundations slanting
Gathering the slaughtered masses where the mantle cuts the deep
Masters of the new Atlantis
Without warning fast sleep

Torn by mankind's false creators
Swarms of starving sea invaders storm the cities underneath
Islands in the lake collapsed by crushing force of shores descent

Waves of war and tragic promise
Children of the last disaster brought to everlasting peace
Watchers on the high ground breaking timeless bonds of instant death

Keepers of the starless dungeon
Sunken clouds of Nimrod’s island
Raining hard with blood-red bubbles, rising from beheaded saints
Sent to cleanse the Earth and heavens
Eden's bleeding corpse restored forever to her Maker's tender dreams of seven days
