...Fumes

By SolApathy

Truth has no meaning
As the universe is deceiving
Within the juxtaposition of hate and love
I feel myself falling from above
I feel no caress below as gravity takes hold
Tripping into my imminent demise
The pills ripped from me, the sky
Painted with tears of superglue fumes
My reality blooms into a chaotic love affair
My kisses touching only the caustic air
If only you could see
Sickness of the soul teases me with moments of clarity
I am my own parity
Or am I ours?
I fail to remember, just as I cannot count my scars
A galaxy on fire in the presence of this dark star
Failing synapses of my twisted dreams reveal
I’m much too broken to…Heal

Everything is broken in it's own way... find the pieces; life is a puzzle. Thank you for sharing.

We'll just have to limp along then to the finish line then Sol. Enjoyed the snappy rap feel to this as it progressed. "I am my own parity" stopped me cold; with a big Aha! after the next line. Cheers my friend! - Dan
