God's Tears

By Markus Darkscribe

I have seen the frozen rain come down
Are these the tears of God
Gods don't cry
They take revenge

The inerrant once had a thought
So many millennia ago
I will take my image
And create the perfect being

They shall worship the home I provide
And care for all it's dwellers
They will know love
They will know freewill

But god is blinded to the treachery
The created deceives the creator
The children are perverse
The children are a fallacy

The god sets fourth to purge his sin
He has spawned his image absolutely
The reflection must fade
The mirror must be shattered

Love the mirror similarity. Shatter what is unreal. Accept the truth as is. Excellent writing.

If we are truly created "in his own image" than I fear we have failed in remarkable fashion to live up to that standard///However there is so much more out there. As someone who doesn't take God into consideration I still find this piece quite telling of what we have become. I fear if there were a God, all they have to do is sit back and watch us as we destroy ourselves. No intervention required lol.
