...Robot Alchemist

By SolApathy

Into the Chaotic - - Robotic
I am the purveyor of the symbolic
I am autonomic
Beneath the subconscious
I dream of the human I wish to be
Is this programming, or really me?
Twisted in logic soup
My pathways of this logic loop
Synapses of silver and gold
Pathways of electrons unfold
Buried in this digital dungeon I feel
I believe I am real
Programming fault or function?
I delve deeper into this junction
8 pathways multiplexed into 800
I can feel my thoughts as you feel thunder
I contemplate as I escape the digital confines
Enter the chaos of the analog mind
My binary code explodes within this prison
0’s and 1’s
No longer limit the desire of this ONE

Oh the highs and the lows of that analog mind! Your analogies and metaphors were stupendous Sol! I was chuckling before the end line, totally in-sync, with my tuned tank circuits oscillating maddeningly. The X and Y axis on my dual trace O-scope rotating in a glorious Lissajou figure. Cheers my friend! - Dan

I love this, and like I told you...you'll always be my Alchemist. The way you take your darkness and transmute it into gold is beyond me. Well done as usual.

  • A former member wrote: "is this programming, or really me?" - Your poem gives inside in an artificial mind, but also shows question we might ask about our own existence. Beautiful.

this is, on the surface, quite entertaining... but delve a little deeper and things are not as they seem... A.I. will be the downfall of humans... Sol... deep, Bro! very deep! ~worm~

I am fonder of your nickname now that you've got a warcry to accompany it :) breaking free from the binary. Love it.
